After withdraw Terms Of Policy of Trend Micro it stopped in my case.
Couldn't do this as I was opted out and it still was enabled. A fresh wipe and install fixed this bug

S23 Ultra speedtest. Phone locks to 160mhz it just bugs out sometimes on the merlin firmware but stock runs these results 247. Doesn't make sense since it's the same firmware for WiFi but for 388.2_2 behaves better for me.

Fiber 1000 / 50 Australia

15H, so far- rock solid!
36/160Mhz
S23 Ultra also connected now without any special issues.
AX88U

On my other system runs on AX56U, Ethernet Port actually display for the first time since the UI change.

I think it is the best release for me in long-time, will monitor later on and report.

Does your S23U triggers the router to switch to 160 MHz? In my case it does not so it stays at 1,2 Gbps.

Please elaborate..
It seems like 36/160Mhz it on always-
I have Wireless AiMesh connected At 160Mhz, 2100Mbps/2100Mbps.

In my case the router switches back to 80MHz if no client "uses" 160MHz.
Would you please check with a wifi analyzer (that uses no 160MHz eg. with another smartphone than your s23U)?
I thought it is expected, that the router switches back to 80 MHz ...(???)...

Same behaviour at 36/160.

Do you have other clients that "use" 160MHz? In my case there are two laptops with intel wlan cards that trigger the 160 MHz. As long as they are connected the 160MHz is present.

That´s why your router stays at 160MHz! As long as you have got a client connected at 160MHz it stay at 160MHz. In your case the node.

Not correct.

In 388 from Alpha stages it used to drop from 160Mhz to 80Mhz, you would have see it dropped it 600-900Mbps once it dropped to 80.
It would drop after smaller or longer time since router boot.
You would actually see it drops.

Not sure what changed in 388.2 regards that matter, but since Merlin pushed Alpha version on Saturday, it stays stable on 160Mhz.
Previosly on 388, could not handle that the same way.

Something has definetly changed though

Would offer you to reset your unit, i did it 3 times during A/B stages to eliminiate my side for the issues.

My router updated last night but the update icon keeps blinking? I have rebooted and same thing. Clicked the update button and as expexted it says I have the latest firmware.

How do I stop the blinking update icon?

I had a clean installation with 388.2 and nothing changes. The router switches after 1a minutes

I had a clean install with 388.2 and nothing changed : the router switches to 80MHz bandwidth when no 160MHz client is connected.
If you don't disconnect your node and each 160MHz client, the router will not switch to 80MHz bandwidth.

I monitor the available bandwidth (available frequencies and channels) with a wifi analyzer, not with a download test.

Please add your routermodell and network constellation in a signature so everybody can see what you are referring to.

Do you have a meshsystem with not "uptodate" node?

For anyone with the same problem, the resolution was to manually upload the same file that was sent OTA. Upon reboot
the blinking icon stopped.

Asuswrt-Merlin does not support any type of OTA.

Just checked, S23U is getting 1800Mbps link speed 2*2.
