Couldn't see any news in relation to the AC88U successor, any ideas?
What happened to that BRT thingy?
It was kinda interesting with the capabilities there...

sorry merlin cant find any info on the ac86u is this the right model?
It's almost as if a development team pushed the product out, then either left, or got reassigned, leaving the product an orphan. It's really... weird. Especially for a business-class product.
Did it ever ship?
I guess no plans for merlin firmware for the ASUS ROG Rapture Aura AC9600?
If it ain't Broadcom, then it's out of the question, ya.
hi Eric, it's really amazing to find you here!If it ain't Broadcom, then it's out of the question, ya.
which has a similar SoC to AC86U, do you guys has any plan to support those two new devices?
Too early to say. This new generation uses a separate code branch of Asuswrt, which is not compatible with any of the models I currently support. So for it to be possible, Asus will first need to move all the previous models to this new code branch. Only after that I will be able to consider whether it's possible or not to support them.
It was announced at CES. They just changed the name. One new product that's been unexpectedly flying under the radar (considering how mesh technology is the biggest trend these days) is Lyra.

Does Asus also use one of the 5GHz band (867 ) between each hub as backhaul?
