Hello guys, I have installed Diversion with the latest version and it is working very well thus far. Only thing that is bugging me is that log alert from Kernel every 15 minutes or so:

Is this okay or something that I should worry about? Thanks in advance.

This is an error from TrendMicro module. It is closed source so only they can solve this problem, which they have not done so far.
It is not destructive, just annoying.

You can install scribe and uiScribe from amtm to hide these errors.

Long standing know issue. Closed source, RMelin can do nothing to solve.

Easier workaround.
https://www.snbforums.com/threads/script-to-remove-dcd-crashes-from-system-log.54734/

Best workaround, more complex, far more powerful control over many logging options.

Thank you very much to both of you. I will look in to it closely and follow the steps on the guides provided by you. Besides that annoying log noise, Diversion is working great here for me. I wonder why it does'nt work with youtube ads...

Long standing issue: Diversion can't block ads on YouTube because they are served from the same domains that the YouTube content is served from. If you block those....well, no more YouTube for you.

# Start of unverified nonsense
Because the function sendAdSenseDollarsTo_thelonelycoder() in /etc/dnsmasq.conf helps keeping me happy :D
Enter this into terminal to verify:
Code:
cat /etc/dnsmasq.conf
# End of above

You are a genius, my friend. Did'nt mean to diminish your work at all and sorry if I did. I am just starting to install scripts to my AC86u and searching this forum for help. Thank you for this great script.

No worries. Those writing router ad-blocker code have yet to find a way to block YT ads. All attempts failed so far.

Remove amtm with r on the router that does not have amtm in /opt. Then reinstall. It will not remove any third party scripts when doing that.
ok, I configured and installed everything again from scratch and... it occured again. reinstallation helped, everything is fine now but I noticed scripts had some problems eg generating stats for uidiv when ipv6 was enabled.

@thelonelycoder When adding/deleting any domains in the hosted wildcard list or blacklist file it doesn't update the Line in the header of Diversion which tells us "Xxx blocked domains in xx hosts file(s)" even after we process the lists. The change does take effect after file processing but that counter only updates after we do a blocklist update using b>4

So it's a cosmetic bug.

What is the best way to completely sinkhole a domain when using Diversion and Skynet? I want graph.instagram.com to go completely away! lol
