Until you Factory reset or Initialize.I have a RT-68U working fine in Media Bridge mode - was on 380.69 then updated to the short lived 382.something, then 384.3_A1 and now 384.3_A2

I may be wrong, but I don’t think it will go totally closed source. It appears to be trending in a direction that’s making it more difficult for Merlin to work with the firmware. That’s a real bummer for sure.im starting to worry, with all the close source stuff deos thst mean that there will be a day where it will be completely closed source?

TBH, my 68u had the same issue, just it's never solved XD It will shows I can upgrade the firmware(When I click it, it actually went and download the same fw and installed it *facepalm*). I went back n forth twice, guess my 68u is more retarded than yours! And there's 2 options to factory reset in stock fw, lol restore/initiate, both did the same thing...I noticed that while running the asus 384.10007 it would offer me both an upgrade and check button when I was already running that firmware. I did a factory reset and then reinstalled it yet this behavior persisted. Only after installing the merlin 384.3_a1 and then going back to the stock firmware did that condition clear up for me. I obviously have the most retarded 88u on the planet.
Check if you have any logs in both 2way ips and mal site blocked, clear them by clicking the trashcan icon.@Merlin. Something in the AiProtection causes my RT-AC68U to go into a CPU meltdown. If there’s moderate load such as two IPTV streams the CPU use rockets and eventually the router grinds to a halt throttling all bandwidth. With AiProtection switched off it is fine.
Is this code something you have access to or is this closed source? The official ASUS release is exactly the same as was 382.
Any ideas please?
Thanks,
HB

Thanks for the suggestion. I cleared all logs but it has made no difference unfortunately.Check if you have any logs in both 2way ips and mal site blocked, clear them by clicking the trashcan icon.
Same action on the RT-AC66U_B1. I reported it to Asus via feedback and they actually replied via email acknowledging the problem and that they are working on a fix!I noticed that while running the asus 384.10007 it would offer me both an upgrade and check button when I was already running that firmware. I hope they fix all of them for the customers sake.Same action on the RT-AC66U_B1. I reported it to Asus via feedback and they actually replied via email acknowledging the problem and that they are working on a fix!

OK thanks; I feared that this would be the case.Everything tied to Trend Micro is closed source.
