Thank you for yor response and confirmation Scott. Fine to read that it helped you too.

The small extra highest matches could come from the ack/syn/fin/rst/icmp prioritization if some of these boxes were checked. But since main traffic gets classified correctly I personally wouldnt't care about some bits more or less.

Regards,
Chris

Running on RT-66U - all is fine. Thanks Merlin! :)

Something is wrong in there, "same" based FW version:

# wl -i eth1 phy_tempsense
52 (0x34)
# wl -i eth2 phy_tempsense
57 (0x39)

The AC88U works quite well and I don't sense any problems up to now, except this weird temperature sensor/output problem. Any other commands to try for me to provide more information?

My version shows 380.63, not 380.63_2. I've also tried 380.62_1 and got the same result.

Version 380.63_2 is now available for download.

Code:
380.63_2 (12-Nov-2016)
   - CHANGED: Added detection for iPhone 7 models in networkmap
              (patch by Andrei Coman).
   - CHANGED: Enabled --dns-loop-detect support in dnsmasq
   - CHANGED: Move Dual WAN static routes to a lower priority, so VPN
policy rules will have priority over them
   - FIXED: Traditional QoS labels were off by one on the Stats page.
   - FIXED: Adaptive QoS upload stats couldn't be retrieved because
qosd seems to be hardcoded to always set up classes on eth0
rather than on the real WAN interface.
   - FIXED: USB driver was removed too early at shutdown time on the
            RT-AC56U and RT-AC87U (fix by john9527)

Thank you very much. With this fw 380.63_2 QoS is working "finaly" :) after 3 nights fighting with RT-AC68U

Hmm...I'm guessing it's hardware problem...?

Besides, the result table in Site Survey is always empty, not sure if they're correlated.

As in the past, however, the "wireless network" page error!

I've just updated to my RT-AC5300. As usual, all is well.

Thank you very much...

Not sure if it's just me, but I have a lot of problems recently upgrading the firmware. As in, I apply the firmware, it reboots, and it's still on the old firmware.

I've tried:
- Different browsers (IE, Chrome, FireFox, Edge, Safari)
- Different pc's
- LAN vs WiFi
- Incognito Mode
- Reboot prior to upgrade
- Switch off, removed USB, reboot prior to upgrade

Eventually, maybe with some luck and just doing a rinse & repeat, I get it working.

What always seems to work though is SCP'ing the trx file to /tmp and then running the following:
Code:
mtd-write2 /tmp/RT-AC87U_380.63_2.trx linux && reboot

Anyway, just my 2c for if anyone else who has the problem.

Bugger, power light and www light just flashes on and off, after upgrading to 380.63_2, nothing else :(

AC5300

Regards

EDIT: Recover worked, and now on 63_2, must of been a corrupt download, but all is working great :)

do not know if this was going on before but after flashing _2 I have this about 50+ times in the beginning of the system log. if may be from my isp as the dest is theirs but the 4 that is trying to connect is from grc.com sheildsup, and no idea why it is trying to connect to me. anyone else see this or know what it is?

Firewall? Looks like IPtables logging.

Any known issues on the 87R/U? On Asuswrt 380_3459 a lot of users have reported daily reboots. On my 87R I found if I turned off AiProtection Malicious Sites Blocking my reboots have went away. Also the e-mail alerts about web sites blocked were showing as trusted when checked against the trend micro trusted site website.

Or does this version use the same Trend Micro as Asuswrt?

New to Merlin...
