Microsoft should just make updates streamline like Linux no interruptions, I did see a presentation on some new window OS that is going to have a no reboot update feature, I'm hoping that it will make it to the next windows 10 build, which will solve the issue of updates.

From someone who has managed large fleets of Linux servers, reboots are required for some of the components being updated... but at least there, we can schedule it and do the slow roll across the fleet so we don't impact services...

One of my colleagues had a fleet of 120 Windows Servers hosting an application written in dotNET, and I used to give him a good natured poke about the nightmare of patch Tuesday :D

Use WSUS and its no problem at all...
 
Use WSUS and its no problem at all...

Except WSUS comes with its own share of issues. Let's just say the few customers I had with WSUS implemented ran into various other issues over the years...
