It's already merged in github, but no builds yet (or last time I checked).
Compiles likely to take a good while ... the Maestro has very recently been supplied with GPL 386_45958 [much to the relief of "he who panics" ... ;)].
Makes sense that when he releases his latest firmware it is based on an actual widely released stock version .

Patience everyone ... will be well worth the wait :D.

EDIT: My bad ... 386_45958 not yet released as stock - so he's been placed ahead of the pack :cool:!

Asus launched the GT-AXE11000 over 6 months ago, it's a separate router. Wifi 6E requires dedicated hardware, it's not something that can be software upgraded.
it is just as "impossible" as in RT-AC86 bandwidth 160MHz? ;)

AX11000 & AXE11000 use 3хBCM43684

Exactly the same thing - these are higher frequencies that would require both filters and amplifiers designed to support these frequencies.

so it was in June 2020, one channel 177 (20MHz 5875-5895) is missing in firmware for the full range of 160MHz 5735-5895/149-177

Please excuse in advance me for asking this, but do you think "older" AC68U (i.e. not V4) will come in, sooner or later?

Thanks a lot for your work!
It will come eventually, yes.

Just Bought A rt-ax82u router at a great deal on black friday week here in canada ... i know its not supported at this time but hope you add it RMerlin:) Merlinwrt would be amazing on this model

Wifi is currently half-broken, but this is most likely a GPL issue because I had the same problem with the RT-AC68U_V4 wifi.

I can't test anything related to 6 GHz, I don't have any compatible client to connect to it (and Canada only approved the use of the 6 GHz band a few months ago).

Just be patient. I have the GPL for the RT-AC88U/AC3100/AC5300 but haven't had time to merge them yet. RT-AC68U_V4 support is mostly completed, so only the RT-AC68U GPL is still missing.
Hello there i have a question i am using
Operation Mode:Wireless router Firmware Version:386.4_alpha2-g952c6bdecc

the system dont allowing me save WTFast GPN account details only i have this problem ?

thanks

Sounds like the wizards behind the asuswrt curtain may have broken something with WTFast GPN. The general suggestion would be to test to see if this issue persist on non-alpha firmware. If is does, then the next step would be to test on stock firmware. If the issue exist on stock, then one would usually cruise over to the asuswrt help channels and report the issue to the appropriate wizards of asuswrt.

Alpha 2 from Nov 6 on AX88u is working well :) No issues to report

RT-AC86U
Alpha 3
Code:
Nov 27 11:21:54 watchdog: start ddns.
Nov 27 11:21:54 rc_service: watchdog 1220:notify_rc start_ddns
Nov 27 11:21:54 custom_script: Running /jffs/scripts/service-event (args: start ddns)
Nov 27 11:21:54 start_ddns: eth0 has not yet obtained an ipv6 address
Nov 27 11:21:54 custom_script: Running /jffs/scripts/service-event-end (args: start ddns)

Log spammed with this. However, I do have native ipv6 address perfectly working.
