I see these messages in the log over the last 2 days. You can see these associated with different MAC addresses of wireless clients on the network. Phones, IoT stuff, Laptops... Anyone found out what this is or the cause yet? Google finds a bunch of stuff on different routers doing this, but I have not found a fix yet. Whatever this is, I haven't noticed connectivity issue on any devices yet.
Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8), rssi:0
Deauthenticated because sending station is leaving (or has left) IBSS or ESS (3), rssi:0

Thought I would use some AI to get a summary of everything out there.
This log entry from your ASUS router indicates that a device (the "sending station") has disconnected from the network. This can happen for several reasons, such as the device moving out of range, being turned off, or manually disconnecting from the Wi-Fi network2.

If you notice this message frequently, it might be worth checking the following:

  • Device Settings: Ensure that the device isn't set to disconnect automatically.
  • Wi-Fi Range: Make sure the device is within the effective range of your router.
  • Interference: Other electronic devices or physical obstructions might be causing interference.
  • Firmware: Ensure your router's firmware is up to date.
If the issue persists, you might want to explore more detailed troubleshooting steps or consult ASUS support for further assistance.

Several devices wifi cards are configured to sleep or go into low power modes, so I'm thinking that seeing these should not be a big deal? Does everyone else get these in their log every few hours or so with a mix of different devices in use, and then not, on your network?
