Ok.
Last time Im checking for the next few days.
26h lasting 160Mhz, while 150 flights have flown in last 24h as per Flight route that is passing above my head.

It just means it was all an excuse for ASUS's negligence about these da.. WiFi Drivers.
Hope for now on for other attitude from their side.

For now, Im all good, and sarisfied.

Thanks again @RMerlin

Hi @RMerlin ,

Was there some change in this? I'm asking as I've never set the ca trust file manually and it was still working fine for years. I just want to understand :).

Thanks!
Yes. I used to keep it in the default location expected by openssl library. I decided to move it to the same location used by Asus to simplify things when merging future code changes from Asus. by ensuring we both use the same location now.

Am I just seeing things or is the web interface in 388.6 snappier than the 388.5 release? I noticed on first installation and decided to wait a couple of days for RAM to get fully occupied, but it still seems faster.
Regardless, another very nice release, @RMerlin. Thank you.

Hi,

Everything is running smooth on both Ax88u (main & node) but I notised a reset in security settings:
- AI Protection was turned off.
- WPS was enabled
- UPnP was enabled

Is this only me? Afaik last time I checken, a view week ago, is was turned on. So I suppose this has something to do with the update.

So beter check you security settings guys.
Not just you. Glad you flagged that.

Doing a Dirty upgrade from 388.5 now thank you!

Great here too, thanks very much!

EDIT: Restored 388.5 backup with Unbound, Skynet and Diversion. No issues.

Hello!
It’s not entirely clear why Merlin divided the firmware between the Pro and U\S versions...... Tell me?

Let's GO!

EDIT: Filthy upgrade from Beta 1 successful across all gear. No issues of the bat. Have done a full recycle of all the gear after about 20 mins and will let it settle in now. 100+ devices back on-line.

Everything checks out OK so far - DDNS good, VPN Director good, DNS Director good, IOT/Nest/TP-Link/Google devices all happy and re-connected. Will check incoming VPN later when I'm out and about.

Internet speed as expected.

Hi,
all went fine for me (dirty upgrade from 388.5 on a AX88U), but entware package was gone. After a reinstall all my apps unter amtm are working again.
Greetings from Germany.

Getting the following error in the minidlna.log file:
minidlna.c:550: warn: Unset locale
The log file reports the year as 1969.

[1969/12/31 17:01:08] minidlna.c:550: warn: Unset locale
[1969/12/31 17:01:08] minidlna.c:1432: warn: Starting MiniDLNA version 1.3.3.
[1969/12/31 17:01:08] minidlna.c:419: warn: Creating new database at /tmp/mnt/M_db/.minidlna/files.db
[1969/12/31 17:01:08] minidlna.c:1480: warn: HTTP listening on port 8200

I did not see the update in the version of MiniDLNA from v 1.2.1 to 1.3.3 in the change log.
Am going to revert to 388.5 this morning.

Edit:
Reversion appears successful. MiniDLNA log is clean. UPnP remained off. Will hold at 388.5.

RT-AX86U. Dirty upgrade from .6 beta1 to .6. Reset smart connect rules to default and reconfigured. The rest is fine. Thanks Eric.

RT-AX86U, a day ago I made a clean upgrade from 3004.388.5 to 3004.388.6. I also formatted the flash drive for Entware and configured everything manually, including Domain-based VPN Routing Script and scMerlin. No problems noticed. Thank you, RMerlin.

Successful Update on my 2 XT12's, roam assist seems to have been resolved, as I had an issue on the last stable build :)

RT-AX88U Pro, dirty upgrade from 388.5, everything ticking over nicely, thanks!

One question... on the AiMesh tab, I've had reason to try and "Bind" a device but clicking brings up the standard "DHCP" box (Block Internet Access/
Time Scheduling/MAC and IP Address Binding etc). Same for "Optimization". Is this intentional?

After downgrade to 388.5 DLNA works again.
Were you able to identify any error messages in minidlna.log? What symptom did you see....didn't build a database, didn't broadcast to your playback device, or ?

No Problem with DLNA on my RT-AX88U.
So there is no basic error with minidlna in this new release.

Maybe you should Powercycle the router or make a new clean Install of the new release.
Is your minidlna.log clean (lacking the "unset locale" error) and showing the correct date?

[1969/12/31 17:01:12] minidlna.c:550: warn: Unset locale
[1969/12/31 17:01:12] minidlna.c:1432: warn: Starting MiniDLNA version 1.3.3.
[1969/12/31 17:01:12] minidlna.c:419: warn: Creating new database at /tmp/mnt/M_db/.minidlna/files.db
[1969/12/31 17:01:12] minidlna.c:1480: warn: HTTP listening on port 8200
