GT-BE98 Pro updated from 3006_102.2_2
Wireless Log is not showing clients connected to the 5 GHz band. They are being correctly reported for the 2.4 GHz, 6 GHz-1 and 6 GHz-2 bands

Low level details shows the 3 connected clients I would expect to see.

How long did you keep this page open? Sometimes it takes a few minutes to tabulate this log.

I did leave it open for quite a while I was troubleshooting, connecting and disconnecting clients to the 5Ghz SSID.

Changes were listed relating to this page and this is the first time I have seen it occur, so thought I would mention it. I may just reboot later and see what happens.

Flashed this several days ago, and it's doing great. MLO is working well, clients that support 6GHz. are put there if appropriate. Wireless is strong and reliable. No problems at this point, very happy with this firmware. A few odd messages in the system log, but they're apparently debugging information for Asus, since there are no problems in operation.

Thanks, Merlin!

Did you flash over wifi or a wire?

Did you flash over wifi or a wire?

Downloaded the image and checksummed it. Then flashed it from the desktop on my cable-connected desktop computer. So that would be "over a wire".

Makes no difference. If the file fails to transfers properly, then it won't flash at all - the image is validated before being written to flash.

Rt-BE-86U.. upgraded from previous merllin release.. run several days with this beta release and findings were..
- LAN1 port dropped to 100M mode after reboot.. LAN cable out of plug for a 10 seconds or more and plugged back, 1G connection restored. After few hours or maybe day, LAN1 dropped to 100M mode
- seriours WiFi problems ith wifi 7 enabled devices.. slow connetions or no connectivity at all
- Citrix problems.. citrix teams calls very sluggish - very bad call quality, desktops sharing problems
- extremely sluggish router's web interface use
- probs with Scribe installation.. this was solved earlier within this tread.
Upgraded from previous merlin release.. similar problems present there as well. I'm using Diversion and Skynet as this is main reason to have merlin based sw in a first place..

"Downgrade" to Asus official latest release and overall no above mentioned problems at all.. ok, sometimes I hve a feeling of sluggish router interface but this is fairly seldom..
