OpenVPN works stable, connected from the office to my home network for hours.
Maybe you can post your client config file. (Remove certs/keys.)
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I've seen your post...at least you could connect.
My setup was running for 85+ days on FW-v.39 as solid as a rock, including OpenVPN.
After the update, I checked that the certs were there, along with the VPN settings (did not do a factory reset...too lazy and too much hassle IMHO) and that the openVPN Server has been started.
My ASUS runs in a double NAT environment, behind my main-router.
DynDNS is provided by my ISP.
The main router forwards all ports (everything on IP) to the ASUS.
As said, this worked flawlessly for 3 months.
The main router cared-out the same IP to the WAN interface of the ASUS after the
upgrade, so I believe the forwarding rule in it still applies and is active.
EDIT:
OK, I talked my wife through the procedure and UI and what she did was stop/deactivate the server, re-apply the settings and started the server again.
I am able to login to the VPN from outside now...and tested with another client from the inside, which worked OK as well...weird thing, but I'll never change a running beta again ;-)
