Asuswrt-Merlin 378.53 is now available

How would I use the new selective VPN feature to allow only ASUS download master to use the VPN, but let all the other computers on my network use the regular internet? Would I just use the IP 192.168.1.1?

Whatever the source IP is for the device on your network you want to force through your tunnel, give it a name and enter the source IP, then add it. You may want to use a static DHCP assignment in your LAN settings to ensure consistency. All other undefined traffic will not route through your tunnel. If you want to test, get a device with a browser and enter it's IP address in the VPN client config section. Then access a site like ip chicken to see what your externally facing IP address is.

Since flashing to .53, I see VPN > OpenVPN Servers page doesn't display fully - see above. I tried rebooting the router as well as using 3 different browsers on my laptop and I also tried from my iPhone but it's exactly the same. If it's just me, I'd appreciate any suggestions - I also checked the hash of the firmware file before flashing the router.

I'm able to view it. This is using latest version of Chrome browser. I was going to suggest flushing the cache but if you've tested across 3 browsers and 2 devices. Perhaps re-uploading the firmware again (even though hash is good).

Works for me. Open your browser console, and look for any Javascript error in there.

It always says that printer is busy, after re-plugging printer it prints ONE task and then says printer is busy etc.
Unfortunatly I didn't use my printer for almost a year or 10 months, and I cannot say from what version of firmware the problem appeared, only what I know - I had very long router uptimes and when I powered up my printer, I was able to print every time, now have to reboot a router or re-plug my printer after every printing task. Maybe it's not printserver bug but something about usb driver which was updated a couple of times within the last year.

Maybe there is a method to force clearing printing queue in the print server..

tomorrow I will roll back to 374.43 which was the latest release in June-August of 2014 when all was OK, and test

Mine is on and has been on. No idea what's going on. my scripts are still there as far as I can tell. I don't see anything odd in the logs.

Many thanks for taking the time to check. I was fairly sure it was a Javascript thing until I checked it on my iPhone. I'm glad it's me and not the firmware; knowing that is 99% of the battle. Thanks Merlin and Brill.

I have no way of testing this, and since printer compatibility is very much hit-or-miss based on the specific model you use, there's nothing I can do about it.

Could you please help me with some advise how to force re-detecting usb devices to emulate re-plugging usb printer? If this could be done I would like to make a script for this

Can someone verify plz ,almost 1 day uptime with Adaptive Qos and Ai Protection activated , Signature version is still showing 1.030 and normaly with 52_2 it was 1.042.Normal? RT-AC68

Why all these signatures are so different, does it have anything to do with hardware ID?

This feature is only available on the DPI-enabled models (AC56/AC68/AC87/AC3200).

Trying out the ad blocking feature for the first time and knowing its experimental. Pop-up Ad Blocking won't load a couple sites I tested so I left that off. Streaming does seem to get rid of YouTube ads with no I'll effects yet. Pretty cool.

Edit - still seeing some Ads in YouTube.

I have a 1000Mbit connection to my ISP so when passsing 380Mbit (download) my Core 1 util 100% and only 30% while uploading about 850Mbit. Could it maybe be why you are not getting 100% for Core 1...? What kind of connection do you got?
