NAT Type 2 on the PS4 is good. Whereas the Xbox reports NAT as Open, Moderate or Strict.upnp on/off on a ps3/ps4 or dmz reports it as nat2, as it should for most things

which is my point, xbox should report as moderate aka nat2, reguardless if upnp or dmz is used.NAT Type 2 on the PS4 is good. Whereas the Xbox reports NAT as Open, Moderate or Strict.
Did you do a factory reset after the update? There was a change of the wireless drivers for the AC68U and this need a manual reconfiguration...I installed the 380.57 firmware to my RT-AC68U a couple of weeks back and lost my 5GHz wifi networks. They are available to connect to but either a device can't connect to it or a connection is made but there is no Internet service. Is this a known issue? How do I go about resolving it?
I did not! I've updated the firmware several times in the last year or so without issue so I didn't think twice about applying this update. When I clicked the link in my email to open this thread I saw the very first entry on page 1Did you do a factory reset after the update? A factory default reset is required specifically for the RT-AC68U, due to the switch to a new SDK + wireless driver. Some people reported having issues with the 2.4 GHz band with this new SDK - if that's your case, the only solution at this time is to revert back to 378.56_2.
I went ahead and did a factory reset on the router after installing the 380.57 firmware and my problem went from bad to worse. Now the 5Ghz network isn't even broadcasting. Can this be resolved? How?
Thanks,
MJ
That's misleading. I get an open NAT by simply opening a single port.open nat is same as no nat to get that you have connect to modem directly, if you behind router you gona have nat2, nat3 is strick which means something is wrong atlest this from what i seen on my end and from what i read
I performed the reset by using the "Restore" option under Administration > Restore/Save/Upload Setting (tab) > Factory default - Restore. I did not restore a backed up config. I thought about it but decided against it. Was this the right approach? How did you do the reset? And did you restore a saved backup config file afterwards?
Yes, ???! What is your question?????
I m trying to understand what these logs forYes, ???! What is your question?
And why you use the Trend Micro stuff is you do not want it log what it's doing?
"Factory Reset" sounds like something that's done to remove Asus Merlin firmware.

I would factory reset, reconfigure and then go from there.I just upgraded to the latest version on my AC66U. Now, when connected to the 5G network I lose the Internet connection from time to time, not the connection to the router. A reset of the wireless network adapter fixes that, but it happens a lot. I did not do a factory reset when upgrading - could this be the issue??
