Updated and running well! Thanks again Eric!

Reflash it (making sure it's the correct model). The RT-AC87U build is fine, it's been flashed succesfuly by other people.

It's not bricked if it's recovery mode.

Should i see whatever problems i was in the beta? this is what happened when i reinstalled it to get the msg for you, it was a dnsmasq error of some sort the previous time. I'm back on 380.57 at the moment and have had 0 issues.

Both of my devices updated successfully to 380.58 - thanks Eric!

Updated components: OpenVPN, OpenSSL, miniupnpd and udpxy were updated to newer versions

Having done an in-depth review of earlier builds - this is a big deal, and a lot of work...

Nice to see you're doing better (perhaps) - hoping all is well on that front.

Just upgraded my RT-AC5300, no issues, flawless upgrade over the Beta-1, thanks for the great work

The highlights of this release:

  • New advanced tweaks and settings, under Tools -> Other Settings. This includes a setting to disable the hourly networkmap rescans, which could bring NAS and printers out of sleep.

Other Settings does not show on RT-AC5300 in AP Mode.

Not causing me a problem or concern, just providing feedback.

Thanks Merlin for this firmware! I flashed on my ac87u (acting as AP) without problems. However, I have the AC88U acting as my main router and it is currently on ASUSWRT 380.2064. Will I lose any features (and/or fixes) if I flash 380.58 onto my AC88U given that your 380.58 is based on Asus's 380.1354?

Many thanks!

No idea what's changed between 1354 and 2064.

RT-AC5300 updated successfully from beta1.

Thanks, RMerlin
