6147885ff9 Restore generic ARM prebuilts from 384_81351, which were accidentally downgraded by the RT-AC5300 81219 component merge in commit 19f730920271bb4c354d4282c3dccd340fbb59d3
6483e2c750 webui: rc: harmonize max ntp server length with upstream, and ensure (legacy) ntp code has a matching buffer size

19f7309202 Merge RT-AC5300 binary blobs from 384_81219

Things to test:

  • DNS/DHCP, especially on the RT-AC86U and RT-AX88U (dnsmasq was re-upgraded, with an additional fix from upstream, hopefully resolving former crashes)
  • RT-AC5300 in general

Eric for RT-AX88U which GPL it is using 7756 or 6436.

Beta 3 has been uploaded (and should appear on mirrors in the coming minutes). Changes since beta 2:
Are you able to compile these changes for RT-AX88U from GPL 7756 for us that doesn't need QOS? If not, no big deal I can wait for the next Alpha release.;)
From Beta 3 changelog-NG:
Code:
UPDATED: RT-AX88U to GPL 384_6436 (with Let's Encrypt fixes
             backported from 384_81351)

Same here if necessary will wait till next alpha or whatever version will have 7756.

Dirty flash from B2 to B3. Did the Mesh node first. Then the 86U. No issues, nice clean log. I have a mix of manually assigned IP's as well as DHCP. No changes from B2 that I can see and all my manual assignments stuck as well.

Thanks!

More problems with Letsencrypt:
Code:
Status : Authorizing
Issued to :
SAN : undefined
Issued by :
Expires on :

Keeping my 7756 based AX88 firmware for now unless there is a good reason to change (so far no stability issues as far as I've noticed. Havn't checked logs for errors though)

Same here, I am not using QOS and any Trend micro stuff and so far thing are working well. Only message I am getting error adding multicast, but that is to expected since it is disabled when I add IPTV.

Found this in the middle of the creation of the /jffs/.le/(user name).asuscomm.com
Code:
Dec 7 13:11:32 kernel: Cert success.
Dec 7 13:11:32 kernel: cat: write error: Invalid argument
EDIT: Searched for the /jffs/.le/ directory and cannot locate it. AX88U
EDIT: Found the directory. Cleaned it out and reapplied settings. Same as above. Log says it's done then has a write error.
