Hi guys - I bought another RT-N66U and have loaded RT-N66U_3.0.0.4_264.22 without issue.

I made a few config changes and after a few reboots enabled https as the sole method of web connectivity on port 8080 (yes I changed it). I rebooted and whilst I get the usual cert error I cannot get any page to load. I now get a constant "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." error message. I can SSH into the router - does anyone know where the httpd conf file is ? I thought I could change it back without doing a complete reset.

Any help appreciated !

I decided to do a reset and can now access again. I am wondering if this is because I selected enable admin access only form a specific IP and entered my WAN address. I had assumed that this setting only limited WAN access per IP and not internal LAN access ? I am thinking that the setting may mean internal and external IP's.

Can anyone confirm ?

I had this happen a couple times on the stock Asus firmware. It is like the https server stops responding to requests after a while.

I was still able to login via telnet, I just wasn't sure the correct way to restart the http daemon. So I just ended up rebooting and as you say everything comes back up.

I had to do a full reset and reconfigure the router. No amount of powercycles fixed the issue.
