Hello,is krack fix for ac66 or ac68u too?....I hope that soon will be available a stable codebase 382....

Only the RT-N66U and RT-AC66U are fixed in the 380 branch. For the RT-AC68U you will have to wait for a 382 release.

RT-AC66. FTP does not work. It gets connected but disconnected immediately. 380_66 works well with the same configuration. This has been reported by someone else some time ago, a few versions back I think, something about old MIPS machines not compatible with newer vsftpd version.

FTP works fine on my AC-66 and Merlin 380.67

I can see some users having problems with this version on the AC5300, so should I progress with this update? Any further comments from the AC5300 community?

While upgrading from 380.68.2 on AC3200 to .69 I get "Please wait, Applying Settings..." for 10+ minutes while router is still working (internet is okay), but UI is unaccessible from another tab/browser.

Add me to the list of people with issues with this release. I originally grabbed it from Sourceforge , appeared to install normally, then I noticed frequent internet/network outages (every 5-10 minutes). I was unable to navigate to the UI/router page even when the internet/network was working. I put it in recovery mode , downloaded the release from onedrive , flashed and now everything appears working... although it's only been about 10 minutes but that's longer then it was lasting before. :)

Will update again if it stops working again.

AC-68u is my device fyi

I have updated on my AC5300 to 380.69, web UI seems OK, but I am seeing this error now in the sys log:

Is it something to be concerned about? Any help would be great as to its definition..

Power cycle.

Ok, I have been up for a few hours now on my 2 RT-AC5300 routers with this new firmware and the only problem I have to date, is as per other users have reported, the "Disable Asusnat tunnel" resets itself after rebooting.

My post#47 is some what confusing to me, but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues.

Speed is good, no dropping of signal from either the 2GHZ or 5GHZ wifi and no connection loss with client connections to date.

Using Chrome (Version 63.0.3239.84) to connect to the both routers and no problem at all with the webui for either router, all good and no lag anywhere in its use as reported by other users.

Thanks Merlin.....

I have a very weird problem on my RT-AC68u running merlin 380.69. This happened in 380.68_4 as well, I thought upgrading might fix it but no luck.

Here's the thing-- I get ksoftirqd consuming 100% CPU on cpu0 when I run a speedtest, but ONLY when downloading. This limits my download speed to 350Mbps while my uploads are ~930Mbps as they should be. Yes, I confirmed that NAT acceleration is on, switch control says "CTF (Cut Through Forwarding) and FA (Flow Acceleration) accelerator are enabled." QoS is completely off, VPN servers are off, WPS is off, not using WDS or radius. Also no USB devices plugged in.

Now the weird part-- when I disable the 2.4Ghz radio, the ksoftirqd CPU usage goes away and I get the full ~930Mbps download speeds on speedtests. I tried toggling literally every 2.4Ghz setting in the professional tab. No luck, only turning the 2.4Ghz radio off fixes my sirq problem. The 5Ghz radio is completely fine, no effect leaving it on.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this bizarro problem?

Edit: Here's another wrinkle-- by process of elimination, I determined that unplugging my Sonos Play:1 fixed the problem. Any idea why having a Sonos Play:1 on my 2.4Ghz network would cause sirq to max out on downloads only? Soooooo bizarre!

AC66's FTP did not work with 380.68_4 either.

(Not sure this is relevant, I used custom port with /jffs/configs/vsftpd.config and manually configured iptables for the hole. Ran several tests with different versions, all factory reset)

That's why. The MIPS issue was resolved by disabling process isolation. If you are replacing vsftpd.conf, make sure you also re-add isolate=NO in your custom vsftpd.conf, otherwise it will indeed be unstable on the RT-AC66U.

No problems here with 380-69 on an AC-5300.....Good work MrMerlin

However 2017/11/17 AC5300_9.0.0.4_382_18943 is beta as described.....needs some more fixings, lots of delays and hangings. Had to revert back to Merlin.

Flashed 380-69 on my AC3200 , no problems upgrading and everything looks good.

Thanks again Eric for your efforts.

Upgraded both a RT-AC68U (router) and RT-AC66U (AP) to 380.69. So far they have been great! Thanks.

Update performed on my RT-AC3200. All perfect. Thanks so much!

Thank you for yet another excellent release. Much appreciated! It runs beautifully on my RT-AC87U.
