Apologies if that has been asked before, I searched for Uninstalling amtm scripts and I also looked in https://diversion.ch/amtm-usage.html but did not find a definitive answer.

Whilst the Diversion menu has it's own 'remove' option and some posts suggest running specific commands e.g. '/jffs/scripts/uiDivStats uninstall' through a CLI (if you know what the script is called) is there a general way accomplish this elegantly that applies to all scripts?

I admit have not tried to install scripts to see if that offers an uninstall menu, for fear of not being able to uninstall them (if it does not). Are most (all?) under the install menu?

Thanks!

To get the approval of amtm support, I require each individual third party script to have an uninstall option, within it's own menu structure.
As you've found, for Diversion this is d, 6. For Skynet it's option 15 while BACKUMPON offers the same by entering the un option.
You'll have to dig for some I believe but they all do have an option to cleanly uninstall the script.

For amtms own scripts below the amtm scripts (non third-party scripts) header in the i install screen there is an option directly in amtm to remove them.

That's great to hear.

I asked as whilst I found the DC uninstall one, I struggled with the FD one, and I didn't want to format anything to go deeper in that menu.

I looked at https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin.ng/wiki/Disk-formatting and I looked at https://www.snbforums.com/threads/e...ptions-on-the-router.48302/page-2#post-455723 which was referred to by that script (searched on uninstall) but it do not leap out at me (and I still cannot see it).

Thanks

k.

fd format disk is the simplest of all to uninstall: It removes itself after formatting is done or when openend and not used. As with all options in amtm, there will be questions asked before installing. fd asks a bunch of questions before formatting is done.

amtm is safe to use, I don’t trick anybody into doing something stupid ;)

Never suggested otherwise and honestly not trying to 'catch you out' here :).

Was just cleaning up a bit, and could not see an uninstall option.
