If your script at qos worked but nvram doesn’t commit to forcing flow cache off after rebooting then as I pointed make a script that after reboot forces flow cache off post reboot. It would be a bandage.

Some of those commands are in the git issue I posted if you hobble together a script it might be able to get it working.

The future-proof plan is to buy a separate x86 mini PC and run OpenWrt or Debian or pfSense or OPNsense and leave these Asus devices to function as Access Points only.

I have a raspberry pi 3 or 4. I plan to install openwrt there, configure SQM and enjoy a good and fast connection.

Adaptive QoS and hardware acceleration have changed enough lately that the old tricks no longer work. And the latest Trend Micro signature file makes the application classification quite useless.
I can honestly say that Adaptive QoS still works very well for HND routers with custom iptable rules added & FC disabled (Auto mode). Once you remove all iptables and FC is enabled again...not so much.

I rather keep the iptable rules with FC disabled. Thanks for bringing the FC Auto mode in the latest update!
