something is screwy with wifi in this build both my govee outdoor lights dropped off at different times (after upgrading) and would not come back even after router reboot.. and an apc 9631 net card keeps dropping off daily. I went back to 6.2 and both govees came back immediately.

Zero changes to Wifi or drivers in 3004.388.7. Your issue lies elsewhere.

Rolled myself and the router in putrid mud from the bottom of the garden, then smeared the mud up the walls of the house to perform the dirtiest update i've ever performed. All seems to be ok in my network, but my neighbours and the wife are not talking to me. Not a bad thing per se.

Thank you Eric, please provide a yellow sponge and some soapy water for next time.

Tick the box, it’s the ASUS yellow sponge. 🤣

You watch too much Colbert and his Meanwhile segment I think.

Hello @RMerlin and developers,

Here's a problem I've never encountered before, and only since the 3004.388.7 (AX88U) :

It all started yesterday with the sudden Wifi disconnection of my smartphone and I have this in the logs :

May 7 07:31:47 kernel: potentially unexpected fatal signal 11.

Can you tell me what it is and is there a fix ? I tried to restart the router but the error in the logs reappeared.

However, after the 388.7 flash, I performed a reset via the router interface and another via the WPS method. I then reconfigured all the settings manually.
So the problem must be with the new firmware...

The asd crashes have been known about for some time.
asd is Asus's security daemon.

See here (and many other places) ....

Okay, I've never had this error before.
So there's nothing to be done ?
An extra reset wouldn't change anything ?

I don't think so. I see them occasionally on my AX88U Pro, maybe once a month.
I think the process gets restarted by the watchdog.

Okay, you've had it a few times too...
So I'll leave it at that and not touch anything.
If a fix can be made available for the next version that would be great.

ASUS closed source, nothing RMerlin can do...

I see a problem with WiFi dropping!
IMHO the earlier firmware worked better.
Configuration: dirty update
AX86U<---Ethernet 2.5Gbps--->AX86U

@RMerlin stated earlier there's no change to the wireless drivers.

Strange entry in the logs a few days back , think there was a small power blip , was not connected to my UPS at the time
May 5 01:05:21 kernel: broadcomThermalDrv ubus@ff800000:brcm-therm: init (CPU count 4 4 4 4)
All has been running fine since , took 2 or 3 minutes for everything to reconnect

I confirm problems on AX-GT 6000 after updating to 3004.388.7_rog Randomly dropping clients on 5Ghz. After the scheduled restart on Monday, all devices cannot log in to 5Ghz. Only a complete power outage helped. The router is fully reset to factory defaults. I thought this was the cause, but the symptoms did not go away. That's why I'm here, reading if anyone else had problems.
