Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.3 is now available for WIfi 7 devices

After updating the firmware on my BE 98 Pro, it started recognizing the HomePod as if it were physically connected.

And the last digit of the HomePod’s MAC address is also different.

Try using MerlinAU to upgrade (install using amtm) — I have been able to upgrade other routers that otherwise refused to update. @ExtremeFiretop and @Martinski have created a masterpiece!
Sadly no luck I even tried forcing the update using recovery mode but that just puts the pro into a bootloop tried even changing to default firmware and it does the same so just stuck on 3006.102.2_2

If even Recovery Mode is causing issues such as a boot loop then I would double check that you really have a GT-BE98_PRO and not a GT-BE98.

It’s definitely a GT-BE98_PRO

Have you tried restoring the BE 98 Pro to factory settings by holding down the reset button on the device?

You can try:
1、Update the router's official firmware to the latest version.
2、Before installing the Merlin firmware, perform a factory reset to ensure the router is in a clean state. This can be done by holding down the reset button on the back of the router for about 10 seconds.
3、Try using different browsers (such as Chrome or Firefox) to upload the firmware. You can also clear the current browser's cache and cookies before attempting the upgrade again.

I’ve tried this as well last night but still no luck, gonna wait a while and try again

My GT-BE98 Pro is refusing to upgrade for some reason I’ve factory reset and tried but it keeps coming up as 3006.102.2_2 and I’ve also set the ram setting to bypass downgrade blocking
Did you commit the change after entering your downgrade exception?

nvram set DOWNGRADE_CHECK_PASS=1
nvram commit

Just wanted to quickly stop by and kindly ask if you could potentially send logs from a regular update (not recovery)?
System logs showing the update process would be incredibly valuable in situations like this, and may give a hint as to what the cause of friction is.
