Wild guess... Are you using the T-Mobile version (TM-AC1900) of the RT-AC68U? Note that discussions on how to circumvent the lockdown or fix incorrect configuration of that unit which may prevent later versions of firmware from being installed may be generally prohibited here. Search the internet for discussions elsewhere on that specific incorrect unit flash/configuration issue.I have problems to upgrade since 386.4 on a RT-AC68U.
Nope there is no T-Mobile where I live. ThanksWild guess... Are you using the T-Mobile version (TM-AC1900) of the RT-AC68U? Have you checked the log(s) on the RT-AC68U to see if they show a reason or cause?Hi All, I am having an issue getting an ip from my ISP since the 386.7_0 version and I get the same issue with 386.9. I am using a services-start script to get the ip (v4) but it fails on my RT-AC68U. If I run the script manually, udhcp seems to get the ip but the router doesn't connect ... If I revert to 386.5_2, it works like a charm. Any clues?

Nobody for this?Hi.
Sorry, but i can not speak english well. I can not read older post because this.
Have any problem with 386.9 on AC86U? Because i upgraded to this version (from previous), and all mornings freezing all of the router system. No internet, no admin page, i can only power off and on. This works to next morning... And freeze again. Before no made this.
What can i do? I need Merlin because i use my router as a NAS, need Entware.
Thanks: Sandor from Hungary.
What troubleshooting steps have you tried?Nobody for this?
Factory reset = many hours to reconfigure (Many many config in dhcp). I asked before, because i don't want to do a factory reset if not necessary (because if this is a known bug and the developer will fix it in the nearby future)What troubleshooting steps have you tried?
Have you done a hard factory reset? When doing a hard factory reset disconnect the USB hard drive if one is attached to the router before doing the hard factory reset.
Don't rely on restoring /jffs if you are having issues. Once scripting is re-enabled, simply launch amtm to reinstall whatever scripts that you use — during reinstallation, presence of entware should be detected.Factory reset = many hours to reconfigure (Many many config in dhcp). Other question: if i make factory reset, i will need to reinstall and reconfigure Entware and it's used packages? Or will works all after jffs (scripts, configs) backup?
Not a complett jffs, only the scripts and configs dir (like email send, firewall rules etc.). It worked fine about years No occaused mistakes previously. And this scripts needs to use router as i want (i bougth because this router can do this things).Don't rely on restoring /jffs if you are having issues. Well the choice is yours. Sometimes a hard factory reset is the only option/way to fix certain issues. For manual DHCP IP entries one can use YazDHCP or move reservations into theFactory reset = many hours to reconfigure (Many many config in dhcp).
/jffs/configs/dnsmasq.conf.add
file. There are trade offs to those to methods like custom icons not saved apparently, but it is an option. If doing a hard factory reset it is generally recommended one not import a saved router config file. Many will simply take screen captures of each GUI page prior to hard factory reset and refer to those screen captures when manually reconfiguring post hard factory reset.I reseted router (hard reset, WPS+Power). Now is try reconfiguring. Many many time. I hope that the problem will be solving. Thanks.Well the choice is yours. Sometimes a hard factory reset is the only option/way to fix certain issues.
