Are RT-AC88U and RT-AX88U the same?
No, completely different hardware and architectures.
Are RT-AC88U and RT-AX88U the same?
And which scripts will you have to run preferable on nodes than master router?Merlin.nodes can operate user scripts if end user feels so inclined.

Out of nothing my AX-88U started to reboot.
(I have two RT-AC5300 running the same firmware and ... never spontaneously reboot.)
Click "OK"?!?any way to get rid of this!!!
Issue is it always apears every time i load the home page..... i dont want to click ok every single time.Click "OK"?!?
Are you trying to use the same host name? If so, put the N66U back in, change the DDNS host name on it then go back to the AC1900. Ot email Asus support and wait for them to change it for you.I finally updated my N66U to a AC1900P, and i installed this release on the new router, and did a factory reset and set everything up.
My issue is that asuscomm.com DDNS on the new router isn't working. No matter what I put in for my hostname. It says "Request Error! Please try again."
The log says:

The ip address it states is the correct WAN ip.
Any ideas?
Just "spit balling" here but what browser are you using? Possibly a cookie issue?Issue is it always apears every time i load the home page..... i dont want to click ok every single time.
It does it with any hostname. I already, on my old router, went in and delisted the ddns i wanted by changing it on there. It worked. This new router doesn't want to register any domain. Are you trying to use the same host name? If so, put the N66U back in, change the DDNS host name on it then go back to the AC1900. Make sure it's a genuine RT-AC1900P and not a modded model - these are not supported.
